Jinlu Chemical Hosts Firefighting Skills Competition to Enhance Emergency Response Capabilities

In the context of continuous global industrial development, safety remains a top priority in production. To further enhance employees' fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, Jinlu Company held a firefighting skills competition on June 21. The competition's main events included a fire hose relay and fire extinguisher operation with breathing apparatus, aiming to test and improve participants' firefighting skills and teamwork through intense, real-life simulations.

The event attracted employees from various departments, taking place in Jinlu Company's plaza to ensure safety and simulate real fire scenarios. The event was overseen by Group Safety Director Xiao Zhaoguang and Group Safety and Environmental Protection Department Minister Qiao Weidong.

The competition began with a whistle blow from the referee, starting with the fire extinguisher operation with breathing apparatus. Participants had to correctly wear the breathing apparatus in the shortest time possible, run 50 meters back and forth, and extinguish a simulated fire. This event tested the participants' basic firefighting skills and their ability to remain calm and act quickly under pressure. They successfully completed the tasks, demonstrating solid firefighting knowledge and adaptability.

The next event was the fire hose relay, requiring participants to quickly deploy, connect, and run with the fire hose to a target 40 meters away, then accurately spray water to knock down the target. Spectators watched as the hoses rapidly extended from the reels and hit the targets with precision, earning continuous applause from the crowd.

After intense competition, individual winners were selected. These winners showcased not only outstanding firefighting skills but also a strong sense of responsibility. The purpose of this event was to improve employees' practical skills through real-world drills, enhance their understanding and support of firefighting work, and provide a platform for self-presentation and mutual learning. It ignited their enthusiasm and dedication to firefighting work, giving them a deeper understanding of fire safety in chemical production.

Safety in production is paramount, and Jinlu Company will continue to strengthen fire safety education and practical drills. Through such competitions, the company aims to continuously improve employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, ensuring swift and effective action during emergencies, and contributing to a safe and harmonious chemical production environment.
