The annual Top 500 Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises Conference has become a highly influential event in the petrochemical industry. In addition to unveiling the 2024 Top 500 rankings, the conference also presented the sectoral Top 100 and Competitiveness Top 100 lists. Two significant reports were introduced for the first time: the Guidelines for Accelerating the Construction of World-Class Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry and the Petroleum and Chemical Enterprise Competitiveness Index Research Report, offering a clear direction for future industry development.

According to statistics, China’s petrochemical industry achieved a total revenue of 15.95 trillion RMB in 2023, with a total profit of 873.36 billion RMB, and an import-export volume of 952.27 billion USD.
