To further enhance employees' emergency rescue skills and gradually improve the post-emergency response plans, Xingfa Jinguan Company has decided to hold a weekly emergency skills drill competition from April to September 2024.
This competition mandates the participation of all 230 employees at Xingfa Jinguan Company. Each team will independently discuss and decide on the content of their drill competition. Based on the chosen drill content, teams will draft emergency response plans following the company's operational procedures and emergency handling processes. During evaluation, judges will score teams based on strict criteria including early warning and information reporting, emergency response, accident monitoring, command and coordination, accident handling, emergency resource management, personnel protection, evacuation, medical rescue, site control, and recovery. There are a total of 7 major categories and 31 subcategories for scoring.
As of today, after careful preparation by each team, the drill competition has been underway for over two months, with a total of 21 competitions conducted. Regular drill activities have been incentivized with rewards in this competition format. The company does not provide the drill content or procedures; instead, each team independently drafts their own scenarios, which directly influence their competition scores. To achieve better results, participants must be well-versed in the operational procedures, key points, and emergency handling processes of their respective sections before drafting scenarios, assigning roles, and executing command and response during emergencies.
This enjoyable and relaxed competition format has transformed what was once seen as a burdensome emergency drill process into an engaging activity where everyone participates and contributes ideas and suggestions. This approach encourages teams to strive for high scores and rewards. Through this drill competition, the company aims to motivate employees to think proactively, learn actively, master key operational points, and enhance their operational skills and emergency handling capabilities.
